Bio sequence search

IciBio, subscribing to the STN provider, can connect to the Registry database (giving access to the sequences listed in the article and patent databases CAPlus, USPatFull, and GenBank) and to the DGENE database (giving access to the sequences listed in the Derwent patent databases) to search for nucleic acid or protein sequences described in articles or patents.

•   Sequences can be searched for as:

- Exact sequences or sub-sequences
- With or without variation or concatenation
- Similar sequences (using the BLAST or the FASTA algorithm)

•   Sequences can be searched for by key words, name, or metabolic pathway.
